Mysuru: “Candidates appearing for competitive examinations should prepare with strenuous effort, dedication and perseverance, which would definitely yield positive result,” opined MLA S.A. Ramdas. He was speaking after inaugurating the coaching camp for Bank Recruitment Test organised by Competitive Examination Coaching Centre of KSOU at its Cauvery auditorium here recently.
Ramdas said that a candidate after selecting a career stream should study in the right path and added that whatever studied should be understood completely. He contended that people of the country have a habit to save which assists the economy to be strong. He advised candidates opting for a career in Banking to create an awareness among people in balancing expenditure to improve savings.
Continuing, Ramdas said that unorganised micro Banking system has spread tremendously in India. He pointed out that those Banks were advancing small loans to the people and conducting programmes to encourage savings. He added that Sthree Shakti Groups and Women Co-operative Societies too are extending help in that context creating an awareness among rural people on importance of savings.
He asked students to focus on studies and learning without getting drawn by other thoughts. He advised candidates to make best use of the library facility at KSOU. He said that knowledge should be beyond the frame of text book to face a competitive examination.
