Devamma (85), wife of late village Chairman Marigowda and a resident of Kanaganamaradi in Pandavapura taluk of Mandya district, passed away yesterday.
She leaves behind five sons, including Prof. M. Krishnegowda, former Principal of St. Philomena’s College, writer and renowned humorist and M. Balaraj, a Commerce lecturer at Maharaja’s PU College in city, three daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Kanaganamaradi yesterday.
