Mysuru: The District Administration, Department of Kannada and Culture and Sri Devara Dasimayya Jayanthotsava Samithi will be jointly organising Devara Dasimayya Jayanti at Town Hall at 11 am tomorrow. The event will be inaugurated by District In-charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa.
Sri Dayananda Puri Swamiji of Hemakoota Mutt, Ballari, will grace the occasion. Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, Legislative Council Deputy Chairman Marithibbegowda, ZP President Nayeem Sulthana, MPs Pratap Simha, R. Dhruvanarayan and C.S. Puttaraju, Chief Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary H.P. Manjunath, Bengaluru Development Authority Chairman K. Venkatesh, KSIC Chairman M.K. Somashekar, MLAs G.T. Devegowda, Sa.Ra. Mahesh, S. Chikkamadu, Kalale Keshavamurthy, MLCs K.T. Srikantegowda, R. Dharmasena and K.V. Narayanaswamy, MUDA Chairman D. Dhruvakumar, KEA Chairman Siddaraju, MyLac Chairman H.V. Venkatesh, ZAK Chairperson Mallige Veeresh, CADA Chairman H.S. Prior to the event, Anandakumar Kambalihala and group will recite vachanas from 10 am at the venue. Mayor M.J. Ravikumar will flag-off a procession from J.K. Grounds at 9.30 am which will pass through Irwin Road, Ashoka Road and culminate at Town Hall.
