Mysuru: City based Anveshana Seva Trust and Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust have jointly organised a function on June 9 to commemorate the 43rd death anniversary of former Karnataka Chief Minister D. Devaraj Urs.
The function will be held at the auditorium of Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city from 10.30 am. Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture K. Venkatesh will inaugurate. MLC Dr. D. Thimmaiah and Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. MGR Urs will speak about Devaraj Urs. Vice-President of Ursu Jagruti Academy Charitable Trust H.A. Venkatesh will preside.
Trust Founder Arya Amarnath Raje Urs will offer floral tributes to the portrait of D. Devaraj Urs. Sandhya Suraksha Trust President Dr. B.R. Nataraj Jois will be the chief guest.
Six achievers from various fields will be conferred with ‘Dhwani Kotta Dhani’ award for their achievements in their chosen field.
