Bengaluru: The 86-year-old former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda, who has so far stayed away from social media platforms, yesterday made his debut by setting up a Twitter account. His first tweet congratulated the 100-day-old government led by his son H.D. Kumaraswamy: “The JDS-INC coalition government has completed 100-days of governance today. On this occasion I congratulate the government for taking some bold development-oriented decisions. I wish the government continues to give a development-centric administration for 5 years.”
He said he would henceforth use his Twitter handle to comment on political developments in Karnataka and at the National level.
