Mantralaya Seer presents awards to achievers
Mysuru: Ayurveda Vaidya Sangha had organised a function at Government Maharaja Sanskrit College here last evening as part of Sri Dhanvantri Jayanti celebrations and Award Ceremony-2017.
‘Charaka Shree’ award was presented to Dr. J.T. Pawar, District AYUSH Officer, ‘Sushrutha Shree’ award to Dr. P.N. Mohan Kumar, Director, Vinayaka Ayurveda Health Centre, Trishur, Kerala and ‘Darshana Vaaridhi’ award to Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji, Peethadhipathi, Sudarshana Narasimha Kshetra, Vijayanagar, Mysuru.
Mantralaya Raghavendra Swamy Mutt Seer Sri Subudhendra Teertha Swamiji graced the occasion and presented the awards.
Speaking on the occasion, the Swamiji said that Ayurvedic medicine system should be preserved in the country. He contended that there were many cases where Ayurveda medicine had cured serious health problems which was not possible by modern medicines. However, he pointed out that people should be made aware of that.
Sangha President Dr. G. Gurubasavaraj presided. Sakshi Trust-Bengaluru Hon. Director Dr. R.L. Kashyap, Government Maharaja Sanskrit College Principal Dr. K.M. Mahadevaiah, Sangha Gen. Secretary Dr. A.S. Chandrahshekar, Hon. Secretary Dr. M.G. Krishnamurthy and others were present during the programme.
