Mysuru: The 14th annual conference of Research Society for Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), Karnataka Chapter, will be held on Oct. 27 and 28 at Sri Rajendra Auditorium of JSS Medical College, S.S. Nagar in city.
The conference will be inaugurated at 10.40 am tomorrow. Dr. K.R. Dakshayini, Principal, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, will be the chief guest. Dr. B. Suresh, Vice-Chancellor, JSS-AHER and Dr. H. Basavanagowdappa will be the guests of honour. Suttur Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji will grace the occasion.
There will be lectures, debate, workshop, panel discussion and case-based presentations. In addition, there will be presentation of research work and a quiz on diabetes for PG students. About 500 doctors will attend the meet. In all, 70 experts and resource persons from Karnataka and neighbouring States will be participating in the deliberations.
