All pensioners are required to submit their Life Certificate to the Pension Disbursing Authority (Bank / Post Office), every year in November for continued payment of their pension. Last year Karnataka P&T Pensioners Association organised 23 Digital Life Certificate Camps in Bengaluru and other places like Mysuru, Shivamogga, Hassan and Chikkamagalur.
Volunteers of the Association helped a record number of 3,143 pensioners to submit their Digital Life Certificate making use of the “Face Authentication Technology” launched by the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare in collaboration with UIDAI and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Miety).
The Association topped the list of Pensioners Associations in the country in generating Life Certificates during 2022.
Similarly during this year, in November 2023, the Association will conduct Digital Life Certificate camps at the places mentioned above and the camp in Mysuru City will be held on Nov. 5 (Sunday) at Sadvidya Educational Institutions, # 7, Narayana Sastry Road, Mysuru.
Interested pensioners may attend the camp, according to a press release from K.B. Krishna Rao, Secretary, Karnataka P&T Pensioners’ Association, Bengaluru on Ph:080-23230545 or Mob: 94834-67750.
