The Catholic Association of Mysore is organising the 15th Diocesan-level carol singing competition on Dec.1 (Sunday) at St. Philomena’s High School (new building auditorium), near FTS Circle, at 8.30 am. There will be five categories in the competition — High School, Colleges, Parishes, Religious Institutions and Professionals — to be held in Kannada, English and other regional languages. Last date to submit the registration form is Nov. 20. Children who have secured 90 percent and above in the 2018-19 SSLC examination will be felicitated on the occasion. The programme will be inaugurated at 8.30 am by Rt. Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysore. The valedictory function will be held at 5 pm. Rev. Fr. Leslie Moras, Episcopal Vicar General; Rev. Fr. Staney Almeda, Parish Priest, St. Joseph’s Cathedral; Rev. Fr. Dr. M. Vincent, former Principal of St. Philomena’s PU College; Shanthu Nesan, ex-Corporator; Johnny G.
