Mysore/Mysuru: JSS Polytechnic for the Differently-abled, Mysuru, has invited applications from differently-abled students for admission (on All India basis) to the following three-year diploma courses for the year 2020-21: Architecture; Commercial Practice; Computer Science and Engineering (Aided Courses); Jewellery Design and Technology; Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Applications for the Visually Impaired (Unaided Courses).
Eligibility: A pass in SSLC or its equivalent examination with minimum 35% marks along with nature and degree of disability — Orthopaedically Disabled, Hearing Impaired, Partial and Total Visual Impaired.
For Jewellery Design and Technology Course, normal students are also eligible for admission under JSS Mahavidyapeetha Scheme.
Financial assistance through National and State Scholarships to eligible students are available along with separate hostel facilities for both boys and girls.
