JSS Polytechnic for the Differently Abled, Mysuru, is offering six Diploma Programmes of three-year duration each to SSLC passed eligible Orthopaedically Handicapped, Hearing Impaired and Visually Impaired students. The medium of instruction is English.
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, has honoured this Polytechnic with National Award (Additional) 2012 under the category “Best Institution working for the cause of Persons with Disabilities” and the award was presented on 6.2.2013 by the President of India.
Recognising the yeoman service being rendered by this Polytechnic, the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, Government of Karnataka has honoured this Polytechnic with the State Award-2016 under “Best Institution Working for the Cause of Differently Abled” category.
Applications are invited for admission to first year Diploma courses for the year 2021-22 and the last date for issue and submission of completed applications is Aug. 31.
