Mysuru: Rangayana, Mysuru, in association with the Directorate of Kannada and Culture, has readied the stage adaptation of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu’s epic ‘Sri Ramayana Darshanam.’
Along with Rangayana senior artistes, many artistes are required to act in this play.
Those who are well-versed with Kannada literature, speak fluently, especially ‘Sri Ramayana Darshanam’ poetry style of language, have completed Diploma/ Degree course from any theatre training centre, have enacted in other theatre troupes, and are in the age group of 20-30 years, may attend the interview at Rangayana premises in Mysuru on Aug.1 at 10 am.
Selected candidates must adhere to the rules of Rangayana and should be involved in training, practice, shows and tours for at least five months (Aug.1 to Dec.31) under this project.
Also, they must reside in Mysuru during this period and a monthly payment will be provided. Candidates must make their own arrangements for food and stay. For details, contact Ph: 0821-2512629.
