Discourse on ‘Smrithi and Shruthi’ by Swami Kaivalyanandaji from today

Mysuru:  Sri Krishna Seva Samithi Charitable Trust, Gokulam, has organised a discourse based on ‘Smrithi and Shruthi’ by Swami Kaivalyanandaji of Tumakuru at Chaitanya Bhavan, Sri Krishna Temple premises, 6th Main, Gokulam 3rd Stage, from today (Jan.6) every day at 5.30 pm till Jan.12.

Born to Nanjam and Aswathnarayan Rao at Baichapura, Koratagere taluk, Tumakuru, he belongs to traditional Smartha Brahmin family.

After graduation, he joined BEL factory. As he was a seeker of Spiritual Truth, he resigned and went to Rishikesh to study at the feet of spiritual Gurus. Not being fully satisfied, he was restless. Then he came across Sachidananda Saraswathi’s book ‘Intuition of Reality.’ It gave him an insight into ‘Advaita Philosophy.’ He dwelt deep in to it.

There after, he started giving discourses on ‘How to attain blissful happiness’ in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. He also started translating religious books from one language to another as he is proficient in English, Kannada, Telugu and Sanskrit.  Notable among them is ‘Paramartha Chintamani’ (Kannada), ‘Klesh Samharini’ (Sanskrit) and ‘Clarification of Shankara’ (English).
