Mysuru: The Women@Work (W@W) segment was led by Supria Dhanda, Co-Founder & Managing Partner of WYSER, with over 30 women leaders joining the session to strategise for driving cluster growth.
Hosted by KDEM, the W@W Leaders Roundtable brought together visionary women leaders and industry experts to discuss pressing issues related to women’s participation in the workforce.
Themed ‘Breaking Barriers and Building Opportunities,’ the round-table focused on key areas:
1. Challenges faced by women returning to work.
2. Skilling, upskilling and reskilling opportunities for women.
3. Career advancement opportunities in the tech sector.
4. The role of industries in fostering inclusive workplaces.
5. Driving entrepreneurship.
The discussion highlighted the critical need for Government-industry-academia collaboration to create an environment where women can thrive in their careers and contribute to Karnataka’s economic growth.
Participants exchanged insights, best practices and potential solutions to boost women’s workforce participation, particularly in the technology sector.
