Dispel Anger

There are times when emotional imbalance reaches its peak and the person is filed with anger and annoyance. Anger not only disturbs the energy of the person externally but it also causes internal imbalances.

Excess anger build up leads to sickness, and turns destructive, giving rise to problems at work, in personal relationships, and in the overall quality of  life. At times anger blinds the person with seething rage and they tend to act impulsively irrespective of the final outcome. It is said that anger is like a poison and it has the power to destroy friendships, relationships and families.

Anger is  nothing but energy being dissipated and most often anger and ego lead to blame game. Instead of working towards releasing the anger and creating peace and harmony, often we get stuck and feel directionless. Letting go of anger, self-pity, and self-righteousness can be a powerful decision and help the person focus and move ahead.

There are many reasons which can make a person angry but from Feng Shui perspective, the place of dwelling  does have a contribution towards the anger and behaviour of a person. If the home or work place is generating negative vibes, it can overwhelm the occupants and can trigger many kinds of emotions including anger.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, anger is related to the wood element which governs the liver and gallbladder energy (Chi). When the liver becomes stagnant, stuck or excessive, this causes emotions like anger, frustration, resentment and aggression.

The quality of light, air and the energy in a place have great significance and influence in the well-being of the occupants of a building. Dark, stale space creates sickness, lethargy and a feeling of suppression. Excessively bright and too much windy space also has an impact on the emotion of a person. In any of the above situations, the internal energy of the person together with the influence of the external factors can trigger varied imbalances in health, mood and behaviour.

Few things which can be taken care through good Feng Shui to create a space filled with love and dispel anger are:

• If your home is having excessive wooden flooring, timber wall cladding, wooden furniture, wooden decor etc., there is a overload of wood element and as wood relates to liver which controls the emotions,  excessive wood should be balanced with earthen ware, earthen decor, crystals  which can control the wood element.

• Adapt decor or paint in colours of earth element to bring balance to an angry family. Shades of yellow for joy, orange for confidence or browns and beiges can help to ground the person.

• Positioning beds above geopathic nodes or geomagnetic fields cause ill-health, stress and increases challenging behaviours.

• To dissolve tension and anger, place six round crystal balls on the coffee table in your living room or in your family room. This is especially effective in the centre, southwest and northwest corners.
