Mysore/Mysuru: Following directions from the Deputy Secretary of Revenue Department at Bengaluru Dr. M.N. Rajendra Prasad, the District Administration today (Mar. 3) launched a 15-day drive for clearance of pending files.
The Revenue Department, acting on the instructions of Revenue Minister R. Ashoka, had recently issued a circular to Mysuru Deputy Commissioner (DC) asking him to conduct a drive for clearing long pending files in Revenue Department.
The Minister is said to have been impressed with the success of a similar drive held in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts recently.
Accordingly, the District Administration has launched a fortnight-long drive from today (Mar. 3 to 17). The drive will be carried out from 10 am to 7 pm on all working days, with the involvement of all concerned officials. The officials cannot take leave in this period, except for emergency or contingency reasons.
The drive is being carried out simultaneously at the DC’s office, the Assistant Commissioner’s office, Tahsildar’s office and offices of the Deputy Director and Assistant Director of Land Records at Mysuru.
The officials can contact the Department Deputy Secretary Kavitharani [99002-73003], who is also the Nodal Officer for the drive, in case of Government sanction for disposal of files.
