Distribution of blankets to homeless from Dec. 1

Mysuru: Distribution of blankets to homeless and destitute by KMPK Charitable Trust will begin from Dec. 1.

A poster in this regard was released by MLA K. Harishgowda at his Office in Jaladarshini Guest House in city yesterday.  

Speaking on the occasion, Harishgowda said that Mysuru, the cultural city, has provided shelter to everyone.

Stating that a few people due to various reasons take shelter in bus stands, railway stations, in front of theatres, Government buildings and other places braving extreme weather during night times, the MLA said that there are many homeless people in the city and on humanitarian concern KMPK Trust will be distributing blankets to provide them warmth.

KMPK Trust President Vikram Iyengar, Indira Gandhi Block President Ravi Manchegowdanakoppal, Priests Association President Vid. Krishnamurthy, Youth leaders Naveen, Ravichandra, S.N. Rajesh, Harish Naidu and others were present.
