Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru district-level convention of CITU-affiliated Karnataka State Gram Panchayat (GP) Employees Association will take place at Mudukuthore in T. Narasipur taluk of the district on Aug. 27.
Announcing this at a press meet here yesterday, Association President K. Basavaraj said that the convention will take place at Sri Shivarathreeshwara Mangala Mantapa in Mudukuthore. Association’s State General Secretary G. Ramakrishna will inaugurate the convention at 11 am on Aug.27. ZP Deputy Secretary Dr. Krishnamraju, Association Vice-President M.B. Nadagouda, T. Narasipur Taluk Panchayat EO C. Krishna and other office-bearers of the association will take part, Basavaraj said adding that the convention will discuss issues such as wage hike, pension, health facilities and other benefits.
Association office-bearers Lokesh, T.S. Dinesh, Siddanayaka, H.J. Jagadish, Mahesh, D.M. Madesh and Varuna Nagaraj were present at the press meet.
