As part of World Senior Citizens’ Day, the Department for the Empowerment of Differently Abled and Senior Citizens, will be organising a District-level Cultural and Sports Meet for elderly citizens in the city on Sept. 15 and 16. While the cultural meet will take place at the Senior Citizens Day Care Centre located in the premises of Rural Development Training Institute at Nimishambanagar at 10 am on Sept. 15, the sports meet will take place at Chamundi Vihar Stadium in Nazarbad at 10 am on Sept.16.
