Mysuru: With Dasara round the corner, PWD and District-in-Charge Minister Dr. H.C. Mahadevappa went on an inspection-spree in city this morning to review the progress of various works launched by MUDA, MCC and other government agencies.
The Minister began his inspection by visiting the Hinkal junction on Mysuru-Hunsur road, where a grade separator (flyover), the first of its kind in the city, is coming up at a cost of Rs. 19.4 crore.
He later went to Bogadi Circle on Ring Road where road median works are going on and directed MCC and MUDA authorities to ensure that medians are properly built and maintained.
The Minister thereafter inspected the construction works of 66/11 KV GIS (Gas Installation Station) Sub-Station on Dhobi Ghat Road along Kukkarahalli Lake.
Dr. Mahadevappa later inspected the stretch of Manandavadi road from Ashokapuram Circle and the road leading from Vivekananda Circle in Srirampura II Stage to BEML Layout, where road widening and other road development works are on.
He then inspected road development works on Madhavachar road (stretch from Srinivasa Circle at Nanjumalige to Agrahara).
After inspecting Lokaranjan Mahal Road, he visited DC Office Complex coming up in German Press premises and proceeded to Chamundi Hill.
