TTD Chairman’s appeal to all VIPs
Tirumala: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Chairman Y.V. Subba Reddy has appealed to all the VIPs not to send any recommendation letters for Vaikunta Ekadasi and Vaikunta Dwadasi darshans on Jan. 13 and Jan. 14 respectively.
Vaikunta Dwara will be opened on Jan. 13 at 3 am and will be closed on Jan. 22 at 11.59 pm.
He asked VIPs to understand and support the decision of TTD to provide hassle-free Vaikunta Ekadasi and Dwadasi darshans to common devotees who bought online tickets. Reddy said for ten days, no recommendation letters will be accepted at the TTD Chairman’s Office.
In view of ongoing repairs to many cottages and rooms in Tirumala, accommodation for all legislators were organised at Nandakam and Vakulamatha rest houses and if the accommodation here is not sufficient enough, they should come prepared to make halt at Tirupati itself, he added.
The TTD Chairman said SRIVANI Trust devotees should take rooms at Madhavam, Srinivasam, Sri Padmavati Nilayam and SV guest house in Tirupati.
He said the TTD Board has decided to reduce the VIP darshans during the 10-day Vaikunta Dwara darshan as much as possible and provide more for common devotees.
