Mysore/Mysuru: A doctor in the city was assaulted this morning for objecting to the parking of vehicles in front of his house at K.C. Layout.
Dr. Vibhu Dhawan has been taken for a medical examination by the Nazarbad Police. According to the Police, there is a restaurant near a park on K.C. Layout Main Road and customers coming to the hotel often park their vehicles haphazardly in front of houses, making it difficult for homeowners to take out their vehicles.
Dr.Vibhu Dhawan told the Police that he had previously requested the hotel owner a couple of times to ask his customers not to park their vehicles in front of houses. This morning, a car was again parked in front of the doctor’s home.
At around 10 am, the doctor objected to the car parked in front of his house, resulting in a heated argument. In a fit of rage, the car owner allegedly assaulted the doctor. Dr. Dhawan also reported to the Police that the hotel owner came to the spot and pushed him.
Dr. Vibhu Dhawan later complained to the Nazarbad Police Station and the Police took him for a medical examination. No FIR had been registered by the time we went to the press at 1 pm, as the Police were awaiting the results of the medical examination.
