Doddathayamma (77), a resident of Basavanapura in the taluk, passed away on Friday in the village.
She leaves behind her husband, three sons, three daughters, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and grandchildren.
Last rites were held at the family’s farm on Saturday, according to family sources.
