TNBC Live brings news home to overseas Indians. TNBC Live has now taken up the responsibility to spread local news to the Indians who are at a disadvantage by living away from home.
TNBC Live is a news broadcasting website that has recently decided to cover local news stories from India. The International news forum is already famous in the international world for providing accurate information and latest news articles.
In 2019, News PLC joined hands with TNBC Live and since then, the site has gone under construction and has been working on different aspects of its news reporting and publishing. It has re-emerged with a new motto, as per the CEO Aninda Bhowmik, “We are now focusing on promoting local news to all our Indian brothers and sisters abroad” Aninda went on to further add that “ We are trying to connect the Indians with their roots and keep them informed about the latest happenings”
According to Aninda, most Indians abroad are worried about their families back in India and are unable to get regular updates as the news websites do not post the local news from the inner parts of India. This is often extremely upsetting for Indians abroad as they have little to no information of all the things going on in their hometowns. This is why TNBC Live has decided to bring domestic news to Indians located globally.
Raj Sharma, an Indian resident living in California said “TNBC Live is the most trustworthy news source for me, the website provided me with a platform through which I keep myself up-to-date with all the news of my motherland.” TNBC Live has provided many overseas Indians, just like Raj, with the opportunity to keep themselves updated with the everyday politics and affairs of India.
Chandrani Sarkar, the recently promoted editor in chief has also stated that the new approach for TNBC Live is “inclusive of all Indians everywhere as they have the right to information of their loved ones.”
Sarkar further added, “We, at TNBC Live, aim to deliver believable, authentic, correct, and up-to-the-minute news stories for our audience”.
