Don’t let dogs in Public Parks

Sir,

I am one of the many senior citizens who are in the habit of taking a morning walk daily in the Park at Ramakrishnanagar ‘I’ Block. There is a person who brings two big dogs into the Park regularly and they are not in harness.

They roam around the Park freely, urinating and defecating, that too on the walking path. But, still he doesn’t care for our requests not to bring them into the Park.

He says that they are trained and are harmless, but doesn’t realise that the very size of the dogs put fear in the public, especially senior citizens like me. This may be happening in other Public Parks too.

Hence, I request the MCC authorities to give strict instructions to the person in charge of the Park, not to let such owners into the Parks with their dogs.
