Mysore/Mysuru: Dr. M.M. Basavaraju, Head, Department of General Medicine, Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI), retired from his office yesterday (May 31).
A native of Melur village in Kittur hobli of Periyapatna taluk, was popular among Mysureans for his honesty and sincerity. He not only treated the patients with medicine but also instilled confidence for their recovery.
