Mysuru: Dr. G.A. Ravishankar, former Chief Scientist at Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI), is continuing his association with Dayananda Sagar institutions as Vice-President, where he is engaged in Academics and Research in Biotechnology and Life Sciences at the Institution and Dayananda Sagar University.
He received ‘Dr. C.S. Paulose Memorial Award 2018’ given by the Society for Biotechnologists (India) at a National Conference ‘Advances & Innovations in Biotechnology’ held at Dayananda Sagar Institution, Bengaluru, recently.
He was awarded for his outstanding contributions to Food Biotechnology, especially for the pioneering work on the Neurotransmitter molecules – Serotonin, Melatonin in Plants & Foods, benefiting Human health.
