Dr. (Capt.) Thimmappiah Memorial All India cricket: Arpit Pannu shines as Punjab takes control

A five-wicket haul by off-spinner Arpit Pannu (five for 28) ably supported by skipper Gurkeeret Mann (two for 36), enabled Punjab CA to bowl out Mumbai CA for 158 in 59.1 overs, in reply to their first innings total of 311 in 91.2 overs, and at the end of the second day’s play, had scored 91 for three in their second innings taking a total lead of 244-runs, in their Group ‘B’ tie of the Dr. (Capt.) K. Thimmappiah Memorial Tournament-2017, conducted by KSCA at SDNR Wadiyar Platinum Jubilee Grounds here yesterday.
