Mysore/Mysuru: For those who know Dr. K. Javeed Nayeem, city’s renowned medical practitioner and Star of Mysore columnist for the past 18 years, he was not only a good doctor and writer but also a speaker. He is also a person with great sense of humour.
Dr. Nayeem was today invited by the Mysore Literary Association (MLA) to deliver a talk on ‘Beginning my life in a White Coat’ which was the continuation of his previous talk ‘Why and How I Became a Doctor’ that he had delivered on June 23, 2023.
Dr. Javeed, during his talk held at Kalpa Kshetra auditorium in Vijayanagar 4th Stage this morning, took the audience back to the days when he was a PU student at St. Philomena’s College in Mysuru. He shared about his journey of entering the medical college in Gulbarga, which was not easy, as Dr. Javeed had to withdraw his PUC results for not scoring the desired marks to get admission to the medical college and succeded as a repeater.
Earlier, Mysore Literary Association paid tributes to Ponoo Muthanna of Pelican Pub, who passed away on Friday, for his relentless support to the Association.
