Dr. K.V. Prabhakar (83), the first Ph.D holder from the Commerce Department of University of Mysore and a retired Professor of Gulbarga University, passed away on Tuesday night in the town.
He leaves behind his wife Sarojamma, three sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
