Dr. Kripa Phadke to perform in Ujjain

Mysuru: Noted danseuse Dr. Kripa Phadke, Founder-Director of Nrityagiri Academy of Performing Arts and Research Centre, Mysuru, has been invited as a resource person by Kalidasa Sanskrit Academy, Ujjain, to conduct Bharatanatyam workshop for 10 days.

Dr. Kripa Phadke has passionately worked for over three decades to popularise the classical dance form among Mysuru youths through Nrityagiri. Born in Mundaje village, Belthangady taluk of Dakshina Kannada, she moved to Mysuru in 1995 to pursue undergraduate studies in dance at University of Mysore’s Fine Arts College.
