Anveshana Seva Trust has organised Dr. M. Akbar Ali Memorial Programme at Institution of Engineers-India (IEI) on JLB Road in city on Mar. 3 at 10.45 am. Kannada Sahitya Academy President L.N. Mukundaraj will inaugurate. Former Minister M. Shivanna will offer floral tributes to Dr. M. Akbar Ali’s portrait. Mines and Geology Department Retd. Joint Director Srinivas Bahadur will preside. Chutuku Yugacharya Dr. MGR Urs will deliver a special lecture on ‘Dr. M. Akbar Ali’s contribution to Chutuku Literature.’ Former Chairperson of Kanteerava Studio Vijayalakshmi Urs will release the 13th year souvenir. Sandhya Suraksha Trust President Dr. B.R. Nataraj Jois, HMT Lingaraje Urs and Anveshana Trust Founder-President Arya Amarnath Raje Urs will be the chief guests, according to a press release.
