Bengaluru: The State Government on Thursday transferred 15 IPS officers, according to which Dr. Rohini Katoch Sepat who was serving as FSL Director in Bengaluru, has been posted as the new SP of Chamarajanagar.
Rohini, a 2008 batch IPS officer, replaces Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain who has been posted as Vijayapura SP.
Dr. Rohini Katoch Sepat is the first woman SP of Chamarajanagar. With the appointment of Dr. Rohini, Chamarajanagar now has 3 top women Police Officers with Geetha Prasanna serving as Additional SP and Sneha as Kollegal Dy. SP.
The outgoing SP Kuldeep Kumar R. Jain who was posted as Chamarajanagar SP in June 2015, was successful in controlling illegal mining and illegal sand transportation.
