Mysuru: ‘Hombelaku,’ a felicitation volume on Dr. C. Sharath Kumar, Director of city’s Mediwave IVF & Fertility Research Hospital, was released at a programme jointly organised by Chutuku Sahitya Parishat Kendra Samiti and Vaidya Varta Prakashana at Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road here recently.
Speaking after releasing the felicitation volume, Karnataka Safai Karmachari Commission Chairman M. Shivanna said that Dr. Sharath Kumar is a perfect example for the fact that success beckons those who engage in selfless social service.
Highlighting the medical and social service of Dr. Sharath Kumar, Shivanna said the Doctor is credited with more than 80 Kannada Medical Literary works. He pointed out that the 480-page ‘Hombelaku’ felicitation volume, which contains articles penned by 98 dignitaries, itself speaks about the achievements and services of Dr. Sharath Kumar, who is associated with Chutuku Sahitya Parishat President Dr. M.G.R. Urs for the past four decades.
JSS Mahavidyapeetha Secretary Shivakumaraswamy, Mysuru Jayadeva Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. K.S. Sadananda, former MLC Thontadarya, Dr. C. Sharath Kumar, Dr. S. Rajeshwari, Ramaswamy and others were present.
