Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Where the Gods Dwell,’ a book on Uttarakhand brought out by Desirazu Associates Lalitha Rao Charitable Trust (DALRCT), Mysuru, will be released at a function to be held at Hotel Rio Meridian in city on July 30 at 5.30 pm.
Philanthropist and industrialist Dr. M. Jagannath Shenoy will release the book. Rajwad Bhanu Raj Singh Pal, the King of Askote, Uttarakhand, will be the guest of honour and receive the first copy of the book. DALRCT Managing Trustee D.S. Ramakrishna Rao will be present.
A tea table book on Pithoragarh,
a photo documentation about the wonders of the lesser known places of Kumaon, its natural splendour, unique architectural heritage, divine and spiritual aura, culture and warmth of the wonderful hill people brought out by Desirazu Associates, Yadavagiri, will be kept for sale at the venue. A part of the funds raised through the sale of the book will be used for the welfare of Uttarakhand women.
