Dr. Sridhara Bonantaya (78) of Geetha Pharmacy in Shivarampet, Mysuru, passed away at Kote Mundugaru village of Sullia taluk in Dakshina Kannada district on Dec. 6.
He leaves behind his wife Jayalakshmi, son Satish Bonantaya and a host of relatives and friends.
A native of Kana village in Kasaragod taluk of Kumbla district in Kerala State, Dr. Sridhara Bonantaya moved to Mysuru in 1972 and started practicing medicine. He played a major role in the construction of Sri Rama Mandira in Parthasarathi Layout of Bogadi here. He was the Founder-Member of Mysuru Havyaka Sangha and was also involved in social service.
Last rites were performed at Kote Mundugaru.
