Dr. Yathindra seeks votes for Congress nominee Lakshmana

Mysore/Mysuru: Former MLA Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah said that the Congress has fulfilled its poll promises, by introducing all the five guarantee schemes within 9 months of coming to power in Karnataka.

Launching a poll campaign on behalf of Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha Constituency Congress candidate M. Lakshmana at Hinkal on Hunsur Road here on Thursday, Dr. Yathindra claimed that BJP Government at Centre had failed on all fronts.

Alleging that Centre was unresponsive to unemployment and soaring inflation, he said that the BJP favours rich and the capitalists.

Asserting that the BJP failed to implement its poll promises, he appealed the voters to reject the BJP candidate and elect Congress candidate Lakshmana, who is always accessible to the people.

Former ZP Member Rakesh Papanna too sought votes for Lakshmana. Congress leaders Koorgalli Mahadev, Beerihundi Basavanna, Arun Kumar, Javarappa, Madegowda, B. Guruswamy, B. Ravi, Nagavala Narendra were present.
