Mysuru: Government Ayurveda Research Centre (GARC) had organised a vision document workshop titled ‘Dhrushti Srushti-2018’ at V-LEAD premises in city recently.
Inaugurating the workshop, retired AYUSH Director G.N. Sreekantaiah opined that all research on Ayurveda should reach people in the lowest strata of society. He observed that Ayurveda had developed tremendously over the last 20 years.
AYUSH Joint Director Dr. S. Ahalya was the chief guest. Former Joint Director Dr. Anjaneya Murthy, SVYM Founder-President Dr. R. Balasubramaniam, GARC Assistant Director Dr. Lakshminarayana Shenoy, Ayurveda College Professor Dr. Shreevatsa and others were present.
Karnataka Institute of Diabetology-Bengaluru Director Dr. M.A. Shekar delivered the key-note address.
About 100 Resource Persons from across the State attended the workshop.
