Liquor sale and transportation is banned from 6 pm on Apr.16 till midnight of Apr.18 in the district and again from May 22 midnight till May 23 midnight in the context of LS polls and counting of votes. Similar ban is imposed in 5 kms radius from Kerala border in H.D. Kote from 6 pm on Apr.21 till midnight of Apr.23 in the context of LS Poll in Kerala on Apr.23.
