Durbar Utsava at Chamundi Hill temple

Pramoda Devi Wadiyar performs puja

Mysuru: The traditional Durbar Utsava was conducted as part of Vardhanti Utsava of Goddess Chamundeshwari at Chamundi Hill in the city last evening.

Pramoda Devi Wadiyar, Member of erstwhile Royal Family of Mysore, took part in the rituals associated with the Utsava, at Rudrakshi Mantap in the temple premises, where Utsava Murti of the presiding deity is consecrated.

Chief Priest of Chamundeshwari temple Shashishekar Dixit performed the rituals, beginning with Utsava Phala Puja at 8 pm, followed by Durbar Utsava at 8.30 pm after all the religious rituals. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar performed the puja,  marking the conclusion of Vardhanti Mahotsava.
