Mysuru: Maintaining that economics graduates have ample job opportunities now a days, retired Joint Director of Co-operative Societies and a writer on economics, Dr. H.R. Krishnaiah Gowda said that economists are in great demand in Public, Private and Co-operative sectors.
He was speaking after inaugurating a special lecture programme organised by the Economics Department of Maharani’s Arts College at its campus here recently. Pointing out that there is ample scope for economics graduates in the banking sector, he said that economics also throws up plenty of avenues for self-employment.
Emphasising on the need for hard work, dedication and determination for clearing competitive exams, he said that every subject has its own value and a job in hand was vital for livelihood.
