Mysuru: A one-day seminar-cum-workshop on ‘Pharmaceutical Products Stability: Quality and Regulatory Perspective’ was organised by the Department of Pharmaceutics, JSS College of Pharmacy in association with IncepBio, Bengaluru, recently.
Dr. P.A. Kushalappa, Director- Academics, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research, Mysuru, inaugurated the workshop. In his inaugural address, he stressed upon the importance of stability of pharmaceutical drug products by both the prescriber and the manufacturer. He added that people should be made aware of using complete dose, which would give the details of shelf life of the product and avoid development of drug resistance.
The scientific sessions included preliminary aspects related to stability, temperature and humidity mapping. The forenoon session gave hands-on training to delegates on temperature and humidity mapping using wired and wireless data loggers.

Dr. T.M. Pramod Kumar, Principal, welcomed. Dr. M.P. Venkatesh proposed a vote of thanks.
More than 250 students from different colleges and delegates from industries attended the seminar.
