Mysuru boy C. Vasisht and Tejas Chaukulkar representing India and taking part in the $15,000 Egypt F18 Futures Men’s Tennis Championship entered the quarter-finals in the men’s doubles event yesterday.
Vasisht and Tejas Chaukulkar combined well to beat Ivan Krivic (Cro) and Neven Krovokuca (Cro) 7-6(14), 6-3. In the men’s singles first round, Stefano Baldoni of Italy beat Vashist Chereku 6-3, 6-0 and entered the pre-quarterfinals.
