‘Ekatvam, a conjoining of art and heart’: Nrityagiri to host two-day cultural programmes

Mysore/Mysuru: Nrityagiri Performing Arts & Research Centre has organised an event titled ‘Ekatvam, a conjoining of art and heart’ at its new hall at 16/1, Preethi Layout, Srirampura 3rd Stage, in city on Oct. 30 and 31 at 5.30 pm on both days.

Oct. 30: Flute Recital by Vid. A.P. Krishna Prasad and M.K. Navaneeth. Musical Ensemble: Vid. Keshav Mohankumar – violin, Vid. H.L. Shivashankaraswamy – mridanga, Vid. Y.P. Vikram Bharadwaj – morching.

Prof. Ramamurthy Rao, Director, Nupura Trust, Mysuru, S.A. Ramdas, MLA, KR Constituency and H.N. Panish, Industrialist & Art Patron, will be the chief guests. Dr. C.G. Narasimhan, Senior Surgeon and President, Ganabharathi, will preside.

Oct. 31: Bharatanatyam recital by K.M. Samiksha and Pooja Sugam, disciples of S. Vijay Kumar. Musical Ensemble: Vijay Kumar, Chennai – nattuvanga, R. Raghuram, Bengaluru – vocal, Nagai P. Sriram, Chennai – mridanga and A.P. Krishna Prasad, Mysuru – flute. J. Jayanth, Member – Food Corporation, India, H.V. Rajeev, Chairman – MUDA, Mysuru and Dr. Tulasi Ramachandra, Renowned Bharatanatyam Artiste and Director – Nrityalaya Trust, Mysuru, will be the chief guests. Dr. Vasundhara Doraswamy, Renowned Bharatanatyam Artiste and Director – VPAC, Mysuru, will preside.
