Mysore/Mysuru: The following candidates have been declared elected as the Members of Mysore Race Club (MRC) Ltd. during the Membership elections held at MRC here yesterday:
Geetika Basapa (157 votes), Dr. K. Ravi (147 votes), Kalengada Mandanna Nanaiah (133 votes), Mohammed Salman (126 votes) and A.S. Shivaswaroop Urs (123 votes).
Election was held between 10 am and 5.30 pm. A total of 9 members had contested in the elections, which was held for the 5 vacancies. In all, 201 ballot papers were polled among which two were declared invalid.
