Mysuru: Dr. Abdul Ravoof and Ahmed Saleem Ahmed have been elected as the President and Vice-President of Muslim Co-operative Bank, opposite old RMC on Sayyaji Rao Road at the election held on Saturday.
Dr. Abdul Ravoof secured seven votes and defeated his nearest rival Surraiya Taranum, who secured six votes. Ahmed Saleem Ahmed also secured seven votes and defeated Iftekhar Ahmed Khan, who managed to secure six votes.
Returning Officer G.C. Jyothi Urs declared the results following which the newly elected President and Vice-President were felicitated. Fazlulla Shariff, General Manager and newly elected Directors of the Bank were present.
