Mysuru: Election to Mysore Bar Association will be held on Nov. 18. The last date to file nomination is Nov. 2, scrutiny on Nov. 3 and Nov. 5 is the last day to withdraw the nomination.
The term of the new team of office-bearers will be 2 years and they will be chosen by 2,600 members of the Association.
The contenders for various posts of office-bearers are – President: M.R. Anand, Anand Kumar, Sharada, prashant and K.T. Suresh, Vice-President: Doreswamy, Vaidyanath, Manjunath, Shivannegowda and Basavarajappa. Secretary: Umesh, Krishna, Shivanna and Sudhir. Joint Secretary: Rudramurthy and Gopala Gowda. Treasurer: Mahadevaswamy, G.P. Chandrashekar and Sharat.
