Engineering students die in accident

Ramanagar: Two engineering students were killed on the spot when the Toyota Fortuner SUV in which they were travelling, rammed into a truck from behind near Kempaiahanadoddi in Ramanagar taluk yesterday night.

The deceased students are Vishwa (21) and Surya (21), natives of Andhra Pradesh, who were pursuing their engineering course at a private college in Vidyaranyapura, Bengaluru. Car driver Suhas has also sustained serious injuries.

The two students, who had come to Mysuru on some work, were proceeding on the Highway towards Bengaluru, when the accident took place.

Ramanagar Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar, registered a case and shifted the bodies to Ramanagar Government Hospital.
