Ensure smooth and orderly entry and exit of vehicles at KRS

I fully concur and support the views expressed by one of the visitors to Brindavan Gardens in this column on 27.12.2022 under the caption “Ordeal of visitors to Brindavan Gardens and traffic chaos.” I have also faced the similar problems many times.

One has to think twice before planning to visit KRS Dam because of the very casual approach at the parking spot which leads to the unpleasant situations as narrated by the visitor.  There will be no teller or asker at the parking spot once the parking fees (which is very exorbitant compared to the service extended) collected and the vehicles are let into the parking place and the safety and smooth exit of the vehicles are not ensured.  Moreover the persons manning at the place behave very rudely with the public.

Will the authorities concerned take these incidents seriously and implement proper traffic discipline to ensure smooth and orderly entry and exit of the vehicles by deputing some duty- minded people at the parking spot at KRS dam and make the visit to the dam a memorable and joyful one.
