The Carmel Catholic Association (CCA), Mysuru, is organising the 27th Carol Singing competition, on Dec.8 at Teresian College Auditorium in Siddarthanagar. This year’s theme is ‘Singing together for peace and harmony.’ The competition will be conducted in twelve different categories, from kindergarten to Professionals. Trophies and cash awards will be given for all winning teams. The last day for submitting application to the CCA Office at Carmel Bhavan, Shivaji Road, N.R. Mohalla, is Dec.3. Rev. Mgr. Thomas Thennattil, Vicar General, Diocese of Mandya, will inaugurate at 8.30 am. Rev. Fr. Joseph Edakkery CMI, Advisor, Carmel Catholic Association, will preside. Valedictory function at 6.30 pm will be presided over by Rt. Rev. Dr. K.A. William, Bishop of Mysuru. Prof. Nagesh V.
